Utility Room Floor Project

The old floor.....pretty ugly and old.
James had already torn out about two-thirds of it before realizing we didn't take "before" pictures.

Getting an idea of what the new floor will look like...

My handyman begins the process!

I've got the best looking handyman around!

Here are the "after" pictures......Now on to the kitchen backsplash.........hall bathroom.........master bathroom......

Ariel got a kick out of listening to James sing along with his MP3 player while working, so she decided to make a movie clip. She caught him singing to Prince, "Baby I'm a Star."

Ariel's 5th grade musical

Ariel was a California girl in the 5th grade musical.
They started with some Buddy Holly and Connie Francis. They did
the Supremes, Jackson 5, then the British Invasion.
Here are few clips of the show... Ariel's parts of course!
She is in the green shirt.

Ariel was part of the Destination: LA

She is in the chorus here...bottom row-end

They had some Eagles, Queen, Bon Jovi and Who in the show too.

The kids did a really good job. They learned alot of music. I got a kick out of Ariel asking me if I knew this song or that song. I told her a couple times to call her grandparents to ask them. She is going around the house today singing the Pinball Wizard!

Hope you enjoyed the clips of Destination Rock 'n' Roll!

Beautiful day in Ohio

Spring is blooming around our house.

Ariel was in a picture taking mood today...these are all compliments of her unless she is in the picture then mom was behind the camera.

I took the girls to the park by our home on this beautiful afternoon.

Alexis found the Halloween makeup and thought the black lipstick was really cool.
Ariel and I told her it looked a bit ugly on her pretty face.

My pretty girls...minus the black lipstick!

The newest 11 year old in our home.

Being goofy and Ariel caught it on film!
The ducks were enjoying the day too.

This is the day that the Lord hath made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Lakota Fest

Playing the Plinko type game at Lakota Fest.

The balloons were cool...the kids were able to pick them up and move them around.

Little frog flopping...

Ariel's artwork on display. She spent so much time on her drawing she didn't get enough
time to do the tissue paper part of the project. She is very detailed.

She found a picture of herself in the collage of the 5th graders.

Alexis is here...can you find her?

Checking out the Union display at the Lakota Fest

We enjoyed our first time to the Lakota Fest. The district did a very good job
with this event.

Aaron's Science Project 2009

Setting up the blocks...

for his Simple Machines.
Rube Goldberg Project - 8th grade

Sorry, had to stop to text!

The automatic hand sanitizer dispenser is
ready for a trial run.

The old Match Box cars & Discovery Toys Marbleworks are still useful in Junior High!

Aaron tested the project a number of times before he took it in and it worked perfectly each time. When it was before the teacher the blocks kept messing up...

Points were off for each try until it worked. URGH.
