And finally, lauching a throw in deep down the field.
All in all it was a great game for AJ, but a bad game for the team.

It's amazing what a little motivation can do for a person. Aaron ran the anchor leg today of his 4 X 200 relay team. He got the baton in six place, and had some ground to make up. Watch the afterburner kick in for the last 50 meters. Gene Tisius (his old STL soccer coach) always said AJ was the fastest white kid he's ever seen. We now have video proof! He ran a sub-26 second split, and pulled out a fourth place finish for the team.
He also ran the third leg of the 4 X 100 relay to help his team to a time of 47.80, and a second place finish. Technically, the team that won should have been disqualified for passing outside of the exchange zone on the anchor leg. The guy running anchor for that team, and AJ are on the same soccer team, so it was OK for them not to call it.

Today was totally different from yesterday; it was sunny and mid-60's. Aaron had an Ohio state cup soccer match scheduled at 6:30, so he ran the 400 meter open race in order to leave early. He finished 3rd with a time of 1:08.

It was in the low 40's with a very light mist of rain. Brrr! The perfect mix for someone to pull a hamstring!
Aaron's 4 X 800 team placed third although we didn't get there in time to see it. The video below is his 4 X 200 race where he ran the first leg. He's in the middle of the turn in black and white. They would have won the race, but they were disqualified for dropping the baton between the second and third leg. A clean hand off would have given them a sub 1:50 time.
She played one session in St. Louis. She is still learning the positions & game!
Her team won 4-2...it was exciting!
